Sometimes One Gesture is Enough - Noble Gift Package 2025

Głuchołazy, late November. Mrs. Ewa looks at the broken washing machine and the approaching winter with a mixture of anxiety and determination. Next to her, 13-year-old Anita does her homework in dim light. Escape from violence, the loss of a son, the fight for a dignified life – this is their story. But it's also a tale of hope, mutual support, and dreams of a better tomorrow.

Medical Faculty PWr in Action

Once again, the Medical Faculty of Wrocław University of Technology joined the nationwide Noble Gift Package 2025 campaign. This year, our family is Mrs. Ewa and her daughter Anita from Głuchołazy – two remarkable women who, despite difficult life experiences, never give up and fight every day for a better tomorrow.

What Did We Manage to Organize?

The Medical Faculty team rose to the challenge. The packages contained not only essential items but also those that show someone truly listens and understands another person's needs:

New automatic washing machine – no more washing in a basin

Coal for winter – warmth at home, more peaceful nights

Warm clothes and footwear – for both ladies

School supplies – so Anita can develop her passions

Household equipment – pots, cutlery, everything that makes a house a home

Massage voucher for Mom – because Mrs. Ewa also deserves a moment to breathe

Night lamp with a photo of Anita's favorite band – a small gesture showing someone remembers her dreams

1,200 PLN in shopping vouchers – support that will give the family financial breathing room

Medicine is Something More

We believe that medicine is not just textbook knowledge – it's above all empathy and the desire to help where it's most needed. It's understanding that being healthy is not only about a functioning body, but also about safety, peace, and hope.

Sometimes one gesture is enough to show someone they're not alone. Sometimes a washing machine, a warm sweater, and a night lamp are enough to transform someone's daily life.
