Assistance to students

A BARRIER-FREE UNIVERSITY

Wrocław University of Science and Technology has been implementing the idea of a barrier-free, open, and disability-friendly university for several years. In line with this, we support candidates as well as undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with special needs, including disabilities.
The university operates the Department of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities, which offers services including the following:

- Psychological Counselling Service (please use the website to arrange a consultation meeting: www.ppp.pwr.edu.pl)
- individual foreign language classes
- equipment rental
- educational assistant
- adaptation of learning resources
- bonding and training camp
- scholarship from the Wrocław Tech Alumni Association

All information can be obtained by e-mail: pomoc.n@pwr.edu.pl, by phone: 71 320 43 20, or in person. The office is located in building C-13 – rooms 1.07 and 1.09 at Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 25, 50-370 Wrocław. Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The university has appointed Accessibility Leaders selected from among university staff willing to be involved in promoting accessibility. Their task is to support people with special needs in the organisational units of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. There is at least one Leader at each Faculty.
